Before You Arrive

I'll send you a detailed preparation guide a few days before your session. The studio will be warmed to a cosy temperature — perfect for keeping your newborn content and sleepy.

Arriving at the Studio in Kingston upon Thames

My home studio is in Kingston upon Thames. When you arrive, I'll show you to a comfortable armchair where you can relax with a hot drink. Many parents tell me they enjoy the peace and quiet — some even have a little nap themselves!

The Session Itself

A typical newborn session lasts 2–3 hours, though we're never watching the clock. Everything is baby-led — we pause for feeds, nappy changes, and cuddles whenever your baby needs them. I gently pose your baby using soft wraps and blankets in neutral tones, focusing on natural, timeless images.

There's no awkward posing, no colourful props, and no feathers. My style is clean, light, and focused entirely on your baby's comfort and those tiny details that change so quickly.

Family & Sibling Portraits

I always encourage parents to jump in for some family shots, even if you're feeling tired or not at your best. Trust me — you will treasure these images. Siblings are very welcome too, and I'm experienced at working with toddlers who have their own agenda!

After the Session

Within 2–3 weeks, I'll share your private online gallery containing beautifully edited images, available for 14 days. You can browse them at home, choose your favourites, and order prints or albums if you wish. All images are delivered in high resolution, ready for printing.

Families travel from across Surrey and South West London for their newborn sessions — including Richmond, Wimbledon, Twickenham, Surbiton, Esher, Cobham, and beyond. The studio is easy to reach, with the journey typically taking under 30 minutes from most surrounding areas.
